Week Three Diet Trouble

Hello all, first time posting on the site, and just wanted some feed back on an issue of mine. I am currently 6'0 tall and 330 lbs. I am male, 25 years old. Weighed 344 3 weeks ago and have lost maybe 14 lbs since. I have been as low as 200 lbs as recent as 4 years ago so I know I can do it. My big problem is consistency with my energy levels; I am taking Apidexin twice daily, Secratagogue gold at night before bed (I realize Secratagogue is mostly marketed toward older individuals but have also read the more out of shape you are the more it helps) and I've just ordered Colonix to cleanse and detoxify my body to hopefully help boost my energy levels.

I am eating 4 times daily, one small meal every 4 hours. My meals range from 2-500 calories a piece. I'm averaging about 1300-1400 calories daily. I try to exercise muscular strength and endurance 2-3 times a week (which may consist of a 30-40 min work out) pushups, dumbells, crunch's. Nothing extreme. I try to do cardio 4-6 times per week, which is 30 mins on a stationary bike for a distance of 8.5-9 miles.

I always do really well for about 2 weeks, then about the 3rd week in on this thing, I physically feel drained and weak almost all the time. I just cave at that point when I start to feel like I can't physically continue with the workouts or even day to day commutes. I end up breaking my diet, not taking the suppliments and eating bad for a week or two and then getting motivated to get back to dieting I try again. Again, I feel good for 2 weeks about mid-late 3rd week in I start feeling drained and tired all the time and it's very rough to maintain. This last time I had a morning where I weighed in around 328 lbs, my lowest in some time. But Lately I cannot get back under 330 or keep this moving in a positive direction.

Any suggestions for keeping my energy up?? I really want to lose this weight and am having a huge back n forth struggle with this.

And just a little additional info

I thought I'd post what my meals look like thus far; maybe my energy is because of my diet??

5:30AM: Take 1 apidexin

breakfast 6:00AM: 5 pitted prunes, 2 cups organic golden flax cereal with skim milk.

Snack 10:00AM: 1 banana 5-7 strawberries

1:30PM: Take 1 apidexin

Lunch 2:00PM: 1 lean cuisine microwave dinner, they are usually about 300 calories; most weeks I do not have the time to prepare a meal for lunch as I'm working a minimum 50 hrs a week.

Dinner 6:00PM: Plain non fat Yogurt with blue berries, strawberry, almond or walnuts.

10:00PM: Take 1 packet secratagogue gold before bed

I'll switch up breakfast for egg beaters and a grapefruit some mornings, or plain oatmeal and egg beaters. Dinner I sometimes make a 93% lean ground beef meatloaf, put in some jalepeno juice, egg whites, Adobo and pepper for flavour. Does this sound like a decent diet or do I need to look into switching things up??

Well...I first want to say that you aren't eating anywhere near enough for your size! You are taking in less than what I, as a 5 ft. 5 in. female of less than half your weight, would eat while dieting!! I can definitely see how you might be lacking energy! The more good, clean foods you put into your body, the more muscle you will build, and the more fat you will lose.

Thanks Spoon

Yea I thought about that too after reading some other threads on here and seeing what some other smaller people are taking in calorie wise. So I added another 200-300 calories a day; but it sounds like I could go even higher than that and still see results. I'll start a log in that log area, but this morning I weighed in at 324 lbs, so more food is actually working surprisingly enough.
