| Junior Member | I beg to differ with your opinion. All artificial sweeteners are potentially dangerous to our health specially with long term use. If you need to use a sweetener in your dishes at all then you could opt for raw honey or molasses in small quantities. Any food item which is not found in nature or has been processed and refined greatly is a potential health hazard. Raw honey has excellent curative properties in a host of diseases has also been found to be safe for diabetics. Ayurveda, (Indian Medical Science) has utilized this fact for thousands of years and completely cured diabetics with Yoga breathing exercises, postures and home remedies. |

| I Usually use BonSweet ( you can get it on Amazon)- it is like splenda, but fortified with calcium and vitamin D- so I get the benefit of getting my calcium and vitamin D while drinking my tea/ coffe without having to remember or do anything special. AS for Truvia - I actually think it is good, being natural and also tastes pretty good. much better than the previous generation of Stevia based sweeteners that had a bad taste. So I guess I would choose one of those two (or Purvia which is very similar to Truvia). |
