Lost 23lbs- now nothing- please help! Hi! I am trying to learn more about herbal medicines/remedies. I was wondering if anyone out there can recommend something to aid in my quest for weight loss. When I started my diet/exercise routine, about 18-23 lbs came off pretty quick. It fluctuates. Now it seems I am stuck. Actually, any suggestions- herbal or otherwise- would be greatly appreciated!!!

You should bear in mind, that the last pounds come off quite hard. Generally, the more pounds you have to lose, the quicker you lose them. You don't have to get desparate about this, just keep doing your general dieting routine. If you go for exercise, then maybe increasing the number of exercises can help. Hope this helps!

Any change in your normal routine should help you to keep shedding the pounds. Your body will get used to whatever it is you normally do and adapt to that. You should try something different, or do a little more time on the treadmill, or do incline, sprints, etc. Also, lifting weights will increase your metabolism and help to shed the fat. It may seem you are not losing anything when you start lifting because muscle is more dense than fat, but you will notice it in your clothes and how you feel. Also, I take green tea (and also drink tea) as well as Omega 3's (good fats). Also, Jenny_y is correct about the fact that it is easier to lose when you weigh more. As you keep losing, you will lose less pound in the same amount of time simply because you have less to lose. Just be patient with yourself and keep pushing yourself just a little more to keep losing the fat

That is wonderful, eileen1!! If you don't mind telling, where were you when you started trying to lose...and what is your final goal at this point? Don't feel like you have to reveal that if you don't want to, but I was just curious...

There is really nothing like losing weight fast,it takes time and dedication and following a routine. There are various methods of going about losing weight but i suggest you cut down the amount of processed foods you take, eat more vegies, drink alot of water, reduce alcohol intake and you could also excercise once a while. Also dont forget to take suppliments.Good luck

I might be able to help Recently I found this wonderful natural homeopathic remedy to help assist in weight loss. I have found that taking a completely natural way of living is also helping me to feel better and to help my family be healthier. The thing that I found was homeopathic hcg. I dont know where I would be without it. I have lost almost 1/3 of my goal. 40 lbs more to go. I will tell you that I have done this all in a month. I have never felt better about myself and never have felt as healthy. I have more energy than ever. I love it!!!!

No, I don't mind. I started at a whopping 190. I am now just under 160. I would be very happy at 140. I carry my weight in my tummy. Its weird, I have fairly thin legs & almost no booty ( thats a bummer ) but a large middle. I have made mostly minor changes in my diet. I exercise. (could do more) I have learned I am a stress eater and have changed the so called " comfort food " I always reach for to thing like cottage cheese, fruit, etc. Now that I have lost what I consider a good amount of weight, I feel some stress. I am constantly worried about gaining back the weight. Is that odd? Before I get on the scale I get a nervous stomac. I hope I can get over this- I want to enjoy the loss, not stress it! My good friend gave me a pair of size 14 pants for my B-day & that did make me feel GREAT! I am sure thay are a large 14 but its the second 14 i've been able to wear in the last week. | |
