Wow! That is a lot of weight to lose...how long did it take you to loose all 110 lbs.? Can't see much in the pic because of the baggy clothes, but you can tell there is a bit to hide under there. What was your heaviest...and lightest? How tall are you?

I lost a total of almost 40lbs from my heaviest (right out of college) to my lightest (which I have to admit was TOO light for my body -- I lost a little muscle in the process, which sucked!) but I did it over a span of a few years of working out (after learning how to do it correctly to get the results) and dieting (with quite a bit of trial and error). I've gained back a bit since my lightest weight because I quit the dieting part and am trying to just eat as healthy as possible (treating myself sometimes, of course) and keep working out, of course (I think I would go insane if I didn't keep working out - can't go for more than a few days!).

I was 250 in the picture, and although I have a thyroid issue, it's no excuse...I went from 250 to 140 in 2 yrs...hard work, eating right, of course it started for a guy, I thought I loved him, turned out to be an ass...and in the end when I lost all the weight he told me I was to thin..LOL if that isent a kick in the pants.....But i learned alot, I have to make me happy, I have to love who I am and to hell with some guy...........

I also went to light, 5'11, ( i have the height)...120pds, thought not eating was the way to go.....yeah not so much, almost killed me .........Now I am a steady, between 140-150 ( due to some health issues) But hey with my height It's ok.....

I still eat but in moderation, actually I follow the weight watchers flex plan, which is what I used to lose the weight in the first place...Love my points plus working out, walking, volleyball, anything active and low impact.....

But there is always room for improvement

WOW! I am very impressed! I would like to thank you for you being the first women to post her before and after. You get mage-cool points for whatever its worth. That is some serious transformation there. I hope you never get tired of hearing how great you look, you shouldn't! Have you had your High School ten year reunion yet?? I'd love to hear about that!

I have had my high school 10, and sadly it was great to hear "you look great" after everyone tried to figure out who the hell I was....but funny, and it may not make sense to anyone, to me I will always be the fat girl, when I see my self in the mirror i catch a glimpse of who I was......my first trianer told me that the hardest thing for me would be to see the new me, and he was right.......I think having gone throught the transformation as you called it, makes me appraicate it even more because I worked so damn hard for 2 yrs to lose it and 8 yrs to maintain............and the mega cool points mean alot thank you............

Here is a pic that was taken last summer at the beach with some friends...hard to tell will look for a better one,

For whatever it is worth, you will always be the "fat girl" in your brain. Unless you realize "you must change the way you think to change the way you feel. " There are a lot of ghosts in my system that must put down too. I have had to realize my accomplishments more often than I'd like to admit. Namely because too often I see me as I thought I was; not for who I've become. I am a weak, fat boy, in my mind. But I don't have to be.

I actually think it keeps me grounded, i think like the old me, so I am a realist, but not snobby as some people become with such a huge change....So i am ok with thinking the old way...

Question You are indeed an inspiration

I wish that more people had the discipline and motivation that you had to achieve your goals.
Splendid job done. Could you tell us more details on how you did it?
