Started off with 30 min Namaste Yoga on FitTV, had a bowl of oatmeal with ALRI Lipolytic Protein and cinnamon, let that digest, then went to do some cardio...

Recumbent Bike:
30 min; interval training

Elliptical w/arms:
60 min; HR interval (HR 135, up to 155, back down, up...).

I think that will do it for me today

Was up nice and early this morning -- did Namaste Yoga (30 min) at 8:30 AM after a couple cups of coffee with a little added kick (protein ).

A little later, I headed out to take a few classes:

60 min Total Body Toning
60 min Pilates/Yoga

That'll do it for today -- actually, I was about dead after the first class, but pushed through the second

Well, I "sort of" did my morning yoga (had quite a few interruptions, so I only got to do a little bit... ), but I did get in some great stretching after my cardio:

60 min elliptical w/arms (interval - HR 135, up to 155 and back down)
20 min treadmill; 3x: 2 min at 4.0mph, 2 min at 6.5, 5 min incline, 3 min cooldown

Did a 30 min Abs class, followed by a 60 min Total Body Toning class -- I used the resistance bands for the first time today...those things are rough, especially at the end of the week after a week of pushing my body to the limit!! Woohoo!!

...then did 30 min on the treadmill; 4.0mph, increasing incline (up to 12), then back down...3 min cooldown.

Lots of stretching today, too...feelin' great!!

....my day got started a little late today...but I still got in a pretty decent cardio workout (20 min on the recumbent bike and 45 min on the elliptical), and then did Namaste Yoga (they do it once in the morning, them replay it in the afternoon, so I managed to catch it in the afternoon ).

Short workout today -- had plans to meet up with a friend for lunch and a movie, and couldn't get my butt in gear early enough...

I did do Namaste Yoga, then 40 min on the elliptical after letting breakfast settle. Looks like that will be all for today...

After the spinning class, I somehow also made it through a 60 min Total Body Toning Class (I didn't say I did this WELL...just that I MADE IT through!! l Whew! lol! ).

Did a total of an hour and a half of Yoga today -- took this as a "rest/stretching" day. I needed this; I worked my butt off the beginning of this week (literally, I hope )!! ...was starting to get a little sore...

Fri., Sep. 1:

30 min Namaste Yoga

60 min Total Body Toning Class, for which the instructor did a body pump program this time. This was about all that my body, already pretty roughed up from earlier on in the week, could take for today!!

After that, I did the 60 min total body workout class, then

Whew! When I can handle Tuesdays at the Fitness Center without feeling like I am going to collapse...then I will have to find a new goal!! lol!

...up in time for 30 min morning Namaste Yoga on Fit TV, breakfast, then cleaned up a little and headed to the fitness center for just a few classes today.

30 min Abs Class
60 min Total Body Toning Class

We used the ball (the big exercise balls you sit/lay on, not the medicine balls) quite a bit, in both classes. These are great for so many exercises -- just be sure to get the correct size for you if you are thinking of getting one. I have a little trouble in that one size is good for some things, but not so great for others. There may be a correct size for me, but not the ones in the fitness center -- they'll do, though...heck, I don't have to pay for those (with the exception of my monthly fee )

Sorry, I haven't posted my workouts for a couple of days...so here is a briefing of the last few days:

30 Min Namaste Yoga
30 Min Recumbent Stationary Bike; HR Intervals
50 Min Elliptical w/arms; HR Intervals

Mon., Aug 11:

30 min Namaste Yoga on FitTV
45 min Kickboxing Class
45 min Pilates class

Tue., Aug 12:

Today I got up for 8:30 AM Namaste Yoga (30 min), then headed to our little club fitness center for 30 min on the recumbent bike, some ab and back exercises on the ball, and 30 min on the treadmill (increasing incline).

I'm feeling much better today...just a little bug I had, I suppose. I've still got a bit of a runny nose, but felt much better after I sweat some of it out. The day of rest yesterday, though, was a very wise decision.

That's all

I'm actually quite shocked that I managed to make it through, considering I am still trying to get over the cold or whatever it is I caught last week, but I actually survived "Insane Day" at the fitness center! Sometimes I really amaze myself!!

30 min abs class
60 min spinning class
60 min total body workout class (I had to sort of modify a little here, as I was already beyond exausted at this point, obviously due to the buckets of sweat during spinning class)
60 min Yoga/Pilates class (this is a mid/low intensity class, so it was a nice cool down/stretch out )
