| I've never heard of these. What are they and what do they do? |

| FitFlops are supposedly designed to give you a better workout while you walk. Engineered to engage muscles, lessen joint impact and absorb shock, they are said to burn more calories and tone your legs with every step, while also being fashionable. The manufacturers claim that these flip flops: "• Strengthen and tone muscles in your feet, legs, buttocks, stomach and back • Absorb shock on your feet, knees and back • Tone and trim your thighs, calves and glutes • Recreate the gait of barefoot walking with a built-in micro-wobbleboard workout-enhancing effect • Improve balance and posture". I believe they started out in the UK, and made their way over to the US. They are now available at Victoria's Secret, Bath and Body Works, Macys, and a few other places (online, at least). I can't say whether or not they actually work well, but they sound pretty neat! |
