| So I am finally starting to realize that the weight is not going to just come off by itself. I've had a really hard time losing weight in the past so I am attempting to change everything about my life in regards to my diet and exercise. Also, I've been hearing a lot about this new FDA approved dietary supplement called Alli. Apparently it prevents the breakdown of fat so it does not get absorbed into your system and it "exits" your body with the rest of the waste. I am really curious if anyone has tried this before and if it does truly work. According to its website it has some really unpleasant side effects and that slightly worries me. So let me know if there is anything you can tell me to help me make a decision on yay or nay. Thanks! |

| Hello, and welcome I have not tried Alli, and honestly would never try it! I have heard only bad things about it, including very unpleasant side effect (oily stool and stomach pains are the most often noted). This is a pill that is said to "block fat", which is actually very bad for your body. Your body needs fat to be healthy (good fats)! Do you exercise? I would suggest trying to make exercise part of your daily routine before heading to the diet pills. And, definitely not Alli...I think it is not a good choice. It is my opinion, and please do tell us your experience with it if you do decide to try Alli, but it is not what I would recommend! Come back often...and good luck!! In good health, Spoon |
