Assisting Women

I have been struggling for sometime with mood swings & hot flashes. Also it seems as if maintaining my weight is getting harder to control. Refusing to take traditional meds I have been looking for an natural supplement that may help me. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? Thank you .

Hi Kim

Have you tried any taking any herbs (easy to find in the vitamin section of a drugstore) for your hot flashes and mood swings? I have heard that black cohosh supplements can be helpful. Soy-based food products are also said to be good for a woman's health, especially during menopausal years. You can also try green tea for its antioxidant properties and a possible boost to your metabolism to help keep a healthy weight.

And, as always, I would definitely suggest exercise (both cardiovascular and weight training) for a good metabolism boost.
